Letters to the editor
After almost five months, it was a pleasure seeing the print edition of Muscat Daily back in my hands. I am an avid reader of the newspaper.
I missed the feel of the newspaper for months, as there is nothing better than holding a newspaper with its smell of newsprint and reading it. This pleasure and feeling is back now.
Being an ‘addict’ of the print media, I missed the print version of the newspaper during the pandemic, even more so considering I was away from the workplace most of this time.
The restrictions on print media and its delivery and distribution meant even the publications from India and neighbouring UAE were not accessible. This was quite a setback for passionate readers like me.
Even though electronic media serves us with the latest updates, the print version of newspapers has always had a charm, and I look forward to seeing it at my doorstep every morning.
Stay home, stay safe!
Long live Muscat Daily!
I would like to congratulate Muscat Daily for returning after a break of around five months. I am so excited to read each and every article from page one to last. Indeed, print newspapers mesmerise readers with the feel and content.
It is very interesting to note that Muscat Daily is covering a variety of subjects, from news on daily life to coverage of local and international events, sports, business, corporate news and features with the 'break' page to relax your mind after reading all pages.
Physical newspapers play an important part in society. Digital editions require data/Wi-Fi to get online.
I wish all the best to Muscat Daily for its continued success as one of the best newspapers in Oman.
