Masks, gloves necessary for visitors at ROP service centres
People visiting the Royal Oman Police’s (ROP) service centres from July 1 will need to wear a face mask and hand gloves apart from following other precautions.
The ROP announced the safety requirements for visitors to its service centres, which start from July 1.
A statement issued by the ROP said, “Masks and hand gloves are necessary until the completion of the transaction and exit from the service building.”
It added that physical distancing of at least two metres is required during the waiting period. It added that people will not be allowed to enter unless they abide by the requirements and violations will be recorded for non-compliance.
‘Using electronic services reduces the spread of COVID-19 infection and you can also avoid waiting,’ it added urging people to use electronic services where ever possible.
