The Ministry of Health announced the death of a 67-year-old citizen who died of COVID-19 on Tuesday evening. 

This is the thirteenth death recorded in the Sultanate of a patient with the coronavirus.  
According to official application for COVID-19 Tarassud, this is the first death recorded outside the Governorate of Muscat. 

‘The deceased is from Suwaiq in North Batinah Governorate,’ the app stated. All the other deaths were from Muscat.
