Having already assured of the GCC Rookie Championship title, Al Faisal has a chance to clinch the top honours in the silver category on his debut season for a dream double.
The season, which began in November last year, has so far featured ten races over five rounds and Al Faisal trails just by a point behind Saudi Arabia's Bandar Alesayi, who has 157 points.
The six-driver line-up in the silver category has Germany's Wolfgang Triller at third place with 130 points.
Adding charm to the final round of the series is the fact that it will take the role of a support race for the Bahrain Formula One Grand Prix.
The 19 year old Al Faisal has claimed four victories in the silver category, while he claimed seven wins in the Rookie Championship.
“I am very happy with how the season has gone so far. It would be an incredible finish to the season if I win the silver title.
Irrespective of the result, it’s been an amazing season for me,” said Al Faisal.
“There’s a bit of pressure to try and beat Bandar for the silver category honours, but I will be pushing as hard as I can.”
“This is the strongest championship in the region, it has growing grids and it is growing in all aspects - we have local drivers, international drivers, top drivers and amateur drivers,” said Al Faisal.
Round 11 of the Porsche GT3 Cup Challenge Middle East will take place on Saturday, with the final race of the championship following on Sunday.
