HM's Cup Football Championship: Fanja wins; Arouba upset by Bausher

Nine-time champion Fanja marched into the last 16 of the 2016-2017 His Majesty's Cup Football Championship as it drubbed Al Ittihad 5-1 at the Seeb Sports Stadium on Saturday. 

Four-time winner Al Arouba, meanwhile, suffered a shock exit, losing 1-2 to Bausher in a round-of-32 match at the Sultan Qaboos Sports Complex on Saturday.

Title holder Saham had made it to the pre-quarterfinals on Thursday with an emphatic 4-1 victory over Bidiyah.
