Alasfoor, who had won the doubles title at the Arab Senior Tennis Championship in the Iraqi capital of Baghdad earlier in February, retained the doubles crown in Amman, Jordan, recently.
Alasfoor teamed up with 65 year old Jordanian Nidal Lotfi, to capture the crown with a 2-1 sets win over Egyptian-Jordanian duo of Abdelhakim Abdul Ghaffar and Ibrahim al Hadid.
Egypt's Abdul Ghaffar was the partner of Alasfoor during their gold medal doubles triumph in Baghdad.
This was the sixth edition of the championships for seniors and witnessed a large participation of 162 men and women players from 14 countries.
The first seniors tennis championship Alasfoor took part was in Cairo, Egypt, in 2018. Since then he has taken part in four tournaments
Despite back-to-back titles, Alasfoor's desire for more success remains alive as ever as he aims for a hat-trick of titles when the next tournament is held in September.
