Experienced endurance racing star Ahmad al Harthy and his Oman Racing team is set to unveil his 2019 race programmes in the coming week, days after he had a 'successful and productive' pre-season testing at Paul Ricard circuit in France.

Ahmad competed in the latest version of Aston Martin Vantage GT3 during the two-day pre-season testing under close supervision of TF Sport, the engineering force behind Oman Racing.

“It was great to experience the new Aston Martin in Abu Dhabi in December. And now, the two-day test we had at Paul Ricard was extremely successful and I am satisfied at the progress made during the sessions. We’re excited for the launch of the season where the full line-up of the team will be announced.”

Ahmad had made history in 2017 when he became the first driver of Arab origin to win the Pro-Am title of the Blancpain Endurance Cup series. He had competed in the same series in Pro class last season and though he failed to achieve any podium finishes in his maiden 'Silver Cup' category, Ahmad's pace was up there with the best of the drivers.
