Waljat College invites school graduates for its Open Day

Muscat - 

WCAS is inviting the young school graduates to attend Open Day activity and programme counseling session on Monday, from 9.30am to 4.30pm at the Video Conference Facility, located in Block 3 in the college premises.

The college campus is located in the Knowledge Oasis Muscat (KOM). It has academic partnership with Birla Institute of Technology, reputed Deemed University from India. All the programmes offered by the college are duly recognised by the Ministry of Higher Education, Sultanate of Oman.

Prospective candidates registering on this day will be benefitted by a waiver of application processing fee. They can also avail the opportunity to avail the career guidance from experts.
In the year 2016, the college introduced four years BE (Chemical Engineering), two years EMBA (Weekend) and four years BBA (Weekend) programmes.

“WCAS believes in imparting quality education with an objective of 360 degree holistic development of its students. The students are encouraged to participate in both international as well as national level competitions. Students are also encouraged to visit organisations and industries in Oman and interact with the experts. Thus the students are given exposure to industrial environments along with the theoretical knowledge gained in class room. Our weekend programmes are for the benefit of the executives who are having keen interest in career growth but are not able to join on week days,” said Dr S L Gupta.

At present the college is offering Executive – MBA, MBA, Bachelor of Business Administration, Bachelor of Computer Applications and Bachelor of Engineering in Biotechnology, Chemical, Computer Science and Electronics & Communication. Students may also graduate with Advanced Diploma and Diploma in some of the above programmes.
