Qatari company wins MoT contest to set up tourist landmark in Seeb

Muscat -

Qatari firm Bin Sheikh Holding Company’s project has been announced the winner of Ministry of Tourism’s (MoT) competition organised for the establishment of a tourist landmark in Seeb.

The project will have traditional Omani souqs, restaurants, cafés and shops which will be leased for 50 years.

The ministry said that the project will be constructed on Land Plot No 277 in the wilayat of Seeb. “The project was selected because of its unique architectural concept. It had detailed plans, facades and 3D images.”

The ministry also said that the Qatari company has been allowed to connect the project to the beach so that it can establish a walkway with cafés and restaurants.
