The new system allows Oman LNG to streamline processes and improve its ability to manage assets and collaborate online with its business
Oman LNG’s main objective was to replace a number of legacy systems in a single state-of-the-art integrated modern ERP system.
The three-phased project included implementation of a Financial, Human Resources and Enterprise Asset Management modules including Procurement Components, Project Tracking and Business Intelligence solutions.
The third phase of the project was the most complex with multiple process integration, system interfaces and large volumes of data and documents migrated. Organisational change was key and Oman LNG invested a lot of time and efforts to get this right so that the business functions embrace the new solution as it was launched.
The successful implementation enables operational, people and process excellence. Through application of Wipro’s committed delivery team, best practices were utilised to garner maximum value and meet Oman LNG’s strategic goals and objectives. The ERP System is designed to empower staff with additional responsibilities by simplifying and eliminating non-value added processes. Oman LNG Omani staff have been trained to support and sustain the launched solution.
