His Majesty the Sultan exchanges Eid al Adha greetings with world leaders

His Majesty Sultan Qaboos bin Said has exchanged greetings with leaders of Arab and Islamic countries as part of Eid al Adha celebrations.

In his cables, His Majesty the Sultan has greeted and wished people of their countries, praying to Allah the Almighty to achieve all aspirations of progress, prosperity and welfare, and for the return of this and similar occasions on all Muslims.

The leaders also sent greetings along with their best wishes to His Majesty the Sultan and the Omani people, praying to Allah the Almighty for the return of this and similar happy occasions on His Majesty while he enjoys a good health, well-being and a long life, and the Omani people continuous progress and welfare under His Majesty’s wise leadership.

His Majesty the Sultan has exchanged cables of greetings with King Salman bin Abdulaziz al Saud of Saudi Arabia, Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed al Nahyan, President of the UAE, King Hamad bin Issa al Khalifa of Bahrain, Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad al Thani, Emir of Qatar, Sheikh Sabah al Ahmed al Jabir al Sabah, Emir of Kuwait and King Abdullah II Ibn al Hussein of Jordan.

His Majesty the Sultan also exchanged cables of greetings with King Mohammed VI of Morocco, President Beji Caid Essebsi of Tunisia, President Abdelaziz Bouteflika of Algeria, President Ismail Omar Guelleh of Djibouti, Field Marshall Omar Hassan Ahmed al Bashir, President of Sudan, President Dr Bashar al Assad of Syria, President Mohamed Abdullahi Mohamed Farmaajo of Somalia, President Dr Fuad Masum of Iraq, President Mahmoud Abbas of Palestine, President Othman Ghazali of Comoros, Fayez al Sarraj, Chairman of the Presidential Council of Libya and President Abdel Fattah el Sisi of Egypt.

His Majesty the Sultan also received greetings cables on this occasion from their highnesses, ministers, advisors, members of the State Council, members of the Majlis A’Shura, undersecretaries, Omani ambassadors, ambassadors of Arab and Islamic countries in Oman, senior officials in the Arab and Muslim world, sheikhs, dignitaries and citizens.

In their cables, the well-wishers sent their best wishes of good health and well-being to His Majesty the Sultan, praying to Allah the Almighty to protect His Majesty and grant him a long life, and for the return of this blessed occasion on His Majesty the Sultan for many years to come with blessings and welfare, the Omani people with further progress and prosperity under the His Majesty’s wise leadership.
