Bank Sohar conducts savings scheme monthly draw

Coinciding with its tenth anniversary celebrations and the official opening of the Ma’abela branch, Bank Sohar recently conducted the second monthly draw for its Al Mumayaz Savings Scheme 2017. The event was held under the patronage of H E Sheikh Ibrahim Yahya Abdullah al Rawahi, Wali of Seeb.

The bank awarded cash prizes totalling RO44,000 to 31 lucky winners across all categories of the Al Mumayaz Savings Scheme 2017.

These included a General Draw for RO10,000; Children’s Draw for RO1,000 and a Female Draw amounting to RO5,000. Additionally, the Al Mumayaz Savings Scheme Monthly Draws also included dedicated Branch Draws which saw one winner from each of the 29 branches win RO1,000

Representing Bank Sohar at the event were Sasi Kumar, acting CEO, Munira Abdulnabi Maki, GM of HR and Corporate Support, Khamis Masoud al Rahbi, senior AGM and acting head Retail Banking, Mazin Mahmood al Raisi, Sr AGM and head of Marketing and Customer Service, Fahad Abdullah al Hooti, district manager of the Muscat District, and Abdul Nabi al Zadjali, chief branch manager of Ma’abela branch.

Going by the success of our Al Mumayaz Savings Scheme, we can see that customers welcome the diversity of our savings schemes.

During the event, a brief overview on the new Al Mumayaz Savings Scheme 2017 and an outline of each of the draws that were to be conducted was provided by Redha al Lawati, Sr chief manager of Liabilities and Sales.

Following the presentation, the Al Mumayaz Savings Scheme Monthly Draws were conducted starting off with the Children’s Draw, which saw Nawaf Maqdad al Raisi (minor) from the Seeb branch win RO1,000. The Female Draw followed, which saw M S S from the Barka branch win RO5,000. The final draw of the day was the General Draw which saw Said al Araimi from the Qurm branch win RO10,000.

The Monthly Branch Draws witnessed a customer from each of the bank’s branches win RO1,000. This included Sara Bonifasy as the winner from the Buraimi branch, Asir Saleh al Shabibi (minor) from the Azaiba branch, Salim Humaid al Shibli from the Sohar branch, Afsal Thayal from the Barka branch, Khalifa Rashid al Hinai from the Ibri branch, Mohammed Said al Saidi from the Khabourah branch, Waleed Said al Zahaimi from the Qurm branch, Hamed Said al Kasbi from the Al Khoudh branch, Omer Amair al Wardi (minor) from the Sinaw branch, S A S from the Privilege Banking branch, Khadam Ashoor Bait

Dahaish from the Salalah branch, Hafedh al Maashari from the MBD branch, Houda Dhahi al Kharusi from the Seeb branch, Mattar Hashil al Gheilani from the Sur branch and Faras Safa Abdula Qader from the Al Khuwayr branch.
