The event was held under the auspices of H E Sheikh Abdullah bin Nasser bin Abdullah al Bakri, Minister of Manpower. This was KR’s 14th batch of trainees who had been selected from an application pool of over 1,300 graduates.
The latest batch of trainees completed a four-month programme in Oman under the Training Initiative for Nationals (TIN), delivered in partnership with Khimji Training Institute (KTI), before travelling to Kuala Lumpur for three weeks of intensive residential training.
While training in Malaysia, participants focused on critical topics including stress management, leadership, performance development and outbound training processes. Upon completion of their training in Kuala Lumpur, KR’s trainees returned to Muscat to commence work in their new roles on December 10, 2018.

Participants of the programme also earned formal accreditation from the United Kingdom’s vocational training institute City & Guilds.
To date, 159 trainees, including 73 females, have benefited from the KR programme as a career launch pad.
