22 trainees graduate in SAP’s Young Professionals programme

The Information Technology Authority (ITA) and SAP company in cooperation with Middle East College celebrated the successful graduation of 22 trainees.

The graduates were from the fourth batch of SAP’s Young Professionals programme that was held from December 9, 2017 to March 5.

According to a press release 79 Omanis have graduated since the beginning of the programme.

Over the three months, the programme focused on developing the trainees’ skills in various fields including ICT, business administration, accounting and finance. It also sought to build the trainees’ interpersonal skills such as marketing, presentation and creative thinking.

The training programme is part of training projects implemented by the Digital Society Development Division at ITA in cooperation with the leading and pioneering ICT companies such as SAP, Microsoft and Oracle.

Through these training programmes, ITA aims at boosting individuals’ capabilities and unlocking youth potentials in ICT as well as to contributing to create more and better job opportunities for fresh graduates and job seekers.

SAP’s Young Professionals is a comprehensive programme which combines SAP solutions and soft skills development necessary for today’s working environments like financial management, HR management, maintenance, planning, productivity, customer service, public relations etc.
