Oman-Korea Joint Committee meetings begin

Stemming from the friendly relations between Oman and South Korea and the endeavour to develop cooperation between the two, meetings of the fourth session of the Oman-Korea Joint Committee at the level of undersecretaries of both countries began here on Sunday.   

The Omani side is being led by Sheikh Dr Abdulmalik al Hanai, adviser of the Ministry of Finance, while the Korean side will be chaired by Jae-do Moon, Vice Minister of Trade, Industry and Energy, with the participation of senior officials from the two countries representing various sectors and government agencies.

The joint committee will discuss existing cooperation between the two countries, particularly in the economic, trade and investment fields and ways of promoting them, in addition to reviewing the achievements made since the previous session.
